I read a lot here but write much less. I don't see the point in chasing reputation other than to offer bounties, which I thought could be quite useful, but in practice have not been useful for the kind of obscure questions I tend to ask.

My top tag on SO is currently 'java' despite rarely using it. I'm a polyglot programmer but currently I mostly use C++ (and understanding the trade-offs I quite like it).

I also have a strong interest in programming language design and AI (the traditional AI not just the deep learning that is currently trending).
