# Scilab - possible to get transfer function, H[z], with negative powers of z?

I use Scilab.

Is is possible using Scilab primatives like poly(), horner(), etc., to generate and display a discrete time transfer function with only negative powers of z?

I have tried a number of things. When multiplying the numerator alone by z^-n, n being the highest positive power of z, Scilab will just show the original numerator divided by z^n.

When multiplying Scilab's transfer function output by z^-n / z^-n, it merely takes that as 1 and does nothing.
