# Writing the specifications of digital filter, am I correct?

Design the FIR filter using suitable window for the specifications-:

$$0.899\leq |H (e^{j\omega}\;)|\leq1\;for\; |\omega| \leq0.2\pi$$

$$\; |H(e^{j\omega}\;)| \leq 0.01, \text{ for } \; 0.4\pi\leq \omega \leq \pi$$

Here I have assumed-:

$$1-\delta_p=0.899=> \delta_p=0.101$$

$$\delta_s=0.01$$

$$\delta=\min(\delta_p,\delta_s)=0.01$$ $$A=-20\log_{10} 0.01=40$$ And continue.

Have I wrote the specifications correctly. Really confused in this. Hope to get some help here...
