I assume if we do a colour map, it is based on the magnitude of the magnetic strength?

After that how do we know where each coordinates belong to? Like for example at p= 0 degrees, x=1, where is the magnetic field strength and where do i shade? Thanks for helping guys...

  • $\begingroup$ This whole setup does not make any sense. It has nothing to do with MRI, nor with proper signal processing. The gray values in MRI are indeed usually related to the magnitude of the signal, but not necessarily. Also, the phase of the signal is a valid contrast, and so could be the real part of the signal. BTW, physically you would not have a coil that is capable of receiving signals with a bandwidth of more than 8 MHz as your example suggests. $\endgroup$ – M529 Oct 9 '19 at 18:51
