We have a step function at the entrance that goes through the following system. The $D(z)$ digital filter introduces a 0.25s delay. Output as $y(kT)$ must be calculated. How can we tackle this problem?

zoh=zero order hold; $\frac{(1-\exp(-sT)) }{s}$

$$D(z)=\frac{(2z-1)}{z} $$

System shown below:

    $\begingroup$ Hi and welcome here at dsp. What exactly is your question / problem ? $\endgroup$ – Irreducible Sep 20 at 5:34
  • $\begingroup$ @Irreducible hi, how can we calculate y(kT)? going into the z-domain and then inverse z? How can we embed in our equation the delay as well? $\endgroup$ – Konzo Sep 20 at 5:49
  • $\begingroup$ More details are missing. why represent $y(kT)$? what is the value of k? is that the continuous harmonic signal? What is the general goal? is this a homework or test question? $\endgroup$ – havakok Sep 22 at 10:53
