My first question what is a scale and how to convert it into a frequency? Secondly, I want to get CWT of a signal, but I want to have the option to choose the frequency range to work on.

I found several codes for this:

1) pywt.cwt() I guess it does the frequency range thing that I want, but the input parameter which is called scales takes an array of integers only, in my case they mainly are decimals. And I could not figure out how to choose the support of the mother wavelet

2) This code which calculates the transform using tensorflow is quite fast, but again I am not able to choose the frequency range.

Is there any way to get CWT of a signal with specified frequency range? If I didn't explain any part clearly, please, let me know. Any comments are highly appreciated
