E.g. in my example, between 1 and 2 there are two unknowns. Actually, I realize that I left it at a train of impulses, but it should be filled -- and that's the unknown, there's no information on how to fill. Will it be linear/cubic/spline/etc? Simply saying that the signal is band-limited is not enough. Filling with Dirac can be done in infinite ways in-between, bandwidth will be obeyed. | |
