I consider myself an enthusiastic of Computer Science, and grow my passion building applications since more than ten years. The wide range of projects in which I have taken part during this time have led me to know many different develop environments, requirements and technologies. Therefore I can say nowadays that I am a professional with a high ability to adapt to new challenges.
I have had the fortune to participate and lead projects that have supposed the design and develop from complex web applications, through client-server types, to the develop of embedded devices and industrial machinery firmware.
Qmonitor, the one I am leading at the moment. It is a general purpose SCADA of which its main clients are Heineken and AGQ. The goal of this client-server applications is to provide a layer between the sensors/controllers located inside a facility (factories, machinery, fields, fish farms, etc.), and the visualization of the data from the web. This way the user can monitor the data (including alarms), as well as control and configure the devices remotely.
LINDA is the design and build of a framework of object selection by computer vision. This framework have been used successfully in the first crayfish selection machine of the world located in Isla Mayor (Seville, Spain). As a technical chief, I have lead led all the project stages from its conception to its launch and maintenance.
At the moment, I am focused in gaining experience in the project planning field and resource management, without forgetting the design, build and test scopes required by soft/firmware applications. All this with the desire of keeping learning to build useful applications for society.
