Let us consider three gray scale intensities 252(11111100),122(01111010),250(01111010).

If i want to group them in to two groups,

I have to see directly intensities(252&250 are grouped together)

or i have to see hamming distance between intensities(250&122 are grouped together)

Which grouping is good or which intensities are nearer(252,250) or (122,250)

Welcome to DSP.SE! We'll be glad to help you, but please, provide us with some context and details, and be precise and concise. Your question is kind of like saying: I need a new flat, can you help? The answer will depend on weather you want to rent or buy? How big is your budget? Are you looking to live alone, with a roommate, or will your family be living with you? Do you have a location preference (close to train/airport/center/hospital)? Like with this flat-example, if you don't provide the context and the details, it's impossible to answer your question. – penelope Jan 28 at 13:36
